About Pepe Seguí
After spending more than a decade as a member of CaboSanRoque (2001–2013), with whom he created, premiered and performed nearly ten original productions, and following another decade away from the theatrical spotlight, designing custom furniture and stage sets under the name AManivela Mobles (2013–2026), Pep Seguí embarked on a new creative phase beginning in 2020.
This period includes the exhibitions Música Concreta (2020) and Inventari i Memòria (2024), both developed in collaboration with artist and architect Nicola Tremacoldi; the sound installation Tocant a morts (2022); the performance Labor (2025), which revisits those fragile beginnings stripped of artifice; and the sound installation Canta i Labora (2026).
Seguí is also a musician (currently a member of the band Carles Carolina) and an agricultural engineer. He is co-director of the Àtoms Festival, organized by the cultural association Quàntica Cultural, and curator of the En Clau de Bacus programme at Vinseum.
Naturally resistant to specialization, he is consistently drawn toward self-sufficiency and driven by an innate curiosity. He could therefore be described as a multidisciplinary artist, a man of many trades and a master of none.
